All of out Premium Themes come with three built-in post types: Clients, Testimonials, and Projects:

Clients

To add a new Client:

  1. Log in your WordPress Admin panel
  2. From Left menu, choose Client -> Add New
  3. Fill the necessary Fields such as Title, Client Link, and a Feature Image
  4. Click ‘Publish’ Button
  1. You can display information about Clients in your website with the ‘Clients’ widget:
    1. Log in your WordPress Admin panel.
    2. From Left menu, Navigate to Appearance -> Widgets
    3. Add the ‘Clients’ Widget to some of the available widget areas

    Testimonials

    You can add people’s opinions about your website and work by adding Testimonials.

    To add a new testimonial:

    1. Log in your WordPress Admin panel.
    2. From Left menu, choose Testimonials -> Add New
    3. Fill the necessary Fields such as Title, Content, Feature Image, Person’s Name, Position in Company, Company Name, and Client Link.
    4. Click ‘Publish’ Button.

    You can display your latest testimonials with the Testimonials widget:

    1. Log in your WordPress Admin panel.
    2. From Left menu, Navigate to Appearance -> Widgets
    3. Add the ‘Testimonials’ Widget to some of the available widget areas

    Projects

    You can information about your work by adding ‘Project’ post types.

    To add a new project:

    1. Log in your WordPress Admin panel.
    2. From Left menu, choose Projects -> Add New
    3. Fill the necessary Fields such as Title, Content, Client, Company, Link, Project Category, and a Feature Image.
      Note: You can define project categories by choosing from Left menu -> Projects -> Project Types.
    4. Click ‘Publish’ Button.

    You can display information about Projects in your website with the ‘Recent Projects’ widget:

    1. Log in your WordPress Admin panel.
    2. From Left menu, Navigate to Appearance -> Widgets
    3. Add the ‘Recent Projects’ Widget to some of the available widget areas

    Or you can list your projects in a separate page:

    1. Create new or open an existing page
    2. Right Column -> Page Attributes -> Template -> Select some of the Portfolio Templates:
      • ‘Portfolio 1 Column’ – displays projects by one per row.
      • ‘Portfolio 2 Columns’ – displays projects by two per row.
      • ‘Portfolio 3 Columns’ – displays projects by three per row.
      • ‘Portfolio 4 Columns’ – displays projects by four per row.
    3. Cick on ‘Publish’ (or ‘Update’) button to save the changes
    4. Now when you open the Page, the Projects will be listed there

    Sometimes you may have an issue with not working links of the project pages. No worries, it can be easily resolved:

    1. Login to your Admin Panel
    2. Navigate to Left Menu -> Settings -> Permalinks, then select ‘Default’ radio button, scroll down and click on ‘Save Changes’ button.
    3. Open the same page (Navigate to Left Menu -> Settings -> Permalinks) then choose the previous selected radio button (Post name, Custom Structure, etc.), scroll down and click on ‘Save Changes’ button. It should resolved the issue 🙂

    Note: The issue could be caused by flush_rewrite_rules function call, Learn More. We do NOT use this function to our themes. So, it could be called by some plugin’s code. You can try to de-active your plugins (one by one) and check if the issue with links is resolved (in this way, you will find out which of the plugins causes the issue).
